Arkansas Seed Swaps Begin this Weekend!
This weekend kicks off the first of several Arkansas seed swaps taking place around the state. The first one will take place February 9th from 1:00-3:00 p.m. in Yellville.
Initiated by Conserving Arkansas’s Agricultural Heritage, these seed swaps bring together gardeners and anyone interested in heirloom seeds to talk plants, trade varieties, and make connections.
See the list below to find a seed swap in your area. And there is no need to have seeds to swap to attend! The event is open to everyone, including beginning gardeners wanting to learn more about the importance of heirloom gardening. Learn more about the CAAH organization and their growing seed bank here.
