Angela Gardner, shares seed stories from her community garden and Central Arkansas New Agrarian Society (CANAS). From Seed Broadcast.
A few months ago we posted about the mobile Seed Broadcast Unit coming to Conway, Arkansas to document Seed Stories and the role of heirloom plants in community life.
A few stories from Conway are now available online, including Brian Campbell discussing CAAH, Bryan Mader discussing the Community Market in Russellville, Michael McHaffley discussing his desire to create an experimental educational farming opportunity and a lot more.
Below is one of the stories. Click on the link here to listen to them all and see other posts about the Seed Broadcast’s time in Conway.
These stories are a great representation of the connection between people and place, food and community, and the organizing work that is being done in the community today. Did you record your story? We’d love to hear about it!
